- Questions that I'm confused about

Hello Professor..., my name is Connor Cheng and would love for you to work with me on my ACURA project. Currently, I am an undergrad at Penn State Abington and pursuing a marketing major. Ever since I was young, I always wanted to pursue a job in the business field. Having many jobs and experience gained from the past, I do have some knowledge of how businesses are operated and maintained. My biggest question that I have is that how does the contribution of social media play a role in how businesses promote themselves to teenagers? As a teenager, we spend so much time on our smartphones and electronics. We as a whole planet evolve around it and many are to say that it has changed our lives and is super important to our lives. With what you offer to the table, I greatly think that it would be amazing if you would help me with my research. Not only do I want to pursue what you have accomplished but you are an example of what I would like to be when I graduate. Thank you very much for your time and hope to hear from you soon.

- Connor

Annotations

My annotations: ]- in the enclosed bracket, I will write a brief overview of the contents - jot down facts about the specific line or paragraph _- key facts and information about the subject ?- a question that I might have ^- my thoughts about the line/paragraph aka adding my own comment *- lines that really stands out Classmates annotations: Different colors for different subjects/topics Circling a word to pull away main points star good quotes +/- for pro/cons of statements and comparisons :( something that confuses me more than what I originally was <3 for a word that they liked What I learned: Me and my classmates have very similar techniques on annotations. Many of which are different symbols but are used the same way that I would use them. The different uses of annotation allows the reader to interpret the article a little more clearer to their liking. I think it is very important to annotate to also grab the best information from the articl...

PB2A Parts 1 & 2

Business How do businesses focus on judgment and decision making biases and explores areas related to both consumer psychology and marketing strategy?  What risks are there if you source raw material rather than using services? What trends are there for the business company within the next 1 to 2 years? Professor Salar Ghahramani  studies International, Comparative, Foreign Law, Transnational Law, International Trade Law & Policy, Comparative Law, International Business Transactions, International Politics (Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude, and with Honors), Minor in History, and Minor in Middle East Studies. Professor Pronobesh Banerjee  studies Marketing, Indian Institute of Social Welfare, Business Management, and Chemistry. In my opinion, I find Professor Pronobesh to be very intriguing because he studies Marketing strategies. One of the most important parts of running a business is to market it and without a game ...

PB1B on Genre Generators

There are various generator’s for genres that create a hot swappable genre and patterns that suit each genre. The first generator generated a research paper on Boolean Logic . There are many conventions that fits this generator for example, the heading, table of contents, graphs, references, results, and the conclusion. Just in one genre you find a lot of conventions that make up that specific type of genre. Meanwhile in a comic strip , there are many different factors that makes it different from a research paper. The biggest difference that I have noticed is there are pictures, either color/black and white. While colors can convey emotions to the audience, I have realized that usually colorful comic strips transmit a funny and happy vibe while a black and white comic strip project a more serious environment to the audience. Most cartoons use non computer like drawing cartoons, or just hand drawn and written. Comic strips also use images and words to convey a certain th...
